Festival Schedule

Hikes 1 & 2:  Millcreek Canyon Hikes Guided by the Wasatch Mountain Club (WMC)

WMC group leaders will guide two hikes into the beautiful Millcreek Canyon area.  One hike will amble into White Fir Pass. The other hike may head into Neff's Canyon.  It's June in the Wasatch, so be prepared for all-weather conditions and bring plenty of water.  All abilities welcome. Pre-hike snacks will be provided. Hike participants will be entered into the the Grand Prize drawings at the Festival. 

• Time: 9:00am
• Meet at the Millcreek Park 'n Ride at 3900 South and Wasatch Blvd.  We'll carpool up to Millcreek Canyon trailheads. 

Hike 3: Birding hike up Big Cottonwood Canyon

Bill Fenimore, local birding expert and author, will lead hikers on a birding discovery journey around Silver Lake.  Nestled at the to of Big Cottonwood Canyon, Silver Lake hosts diverse bird species.  Learn about the unique characteristics of each species, and what dangers lurk in thier environment. Be prepared for all-weather conditions.  All abilities welcome.  Pre-hikes snacks will be provided.  Hike participants will be entered into the Grand Prize drawings at the Festival.
